Day Care Centre officially opens in Beroun

The presentation of the centre will be attended by the Minister of Health Vlastimil Válek. Other guests will be the Chairman of the Board of AKESO holding Sotirios Zavalianis, the Head of Coloproctology Július Örhalmi Ph.D., FASCRS, MBA, the Deputy Head of the Arthroscopy Centre Petr Nepraš M.D. and the Head of the Surgery Department Petr Zeithaml M.D.

Also present will be the head of the gynaecology department Leoš Teslík, MD, IFEPAG, the head of the urology department Petr Běhounek, MD, and the head of the ARO department Martin Král, MD. The start time is from 08:30.
Overnight surgery has been increasingly used by doctors and patients in recent years and the AKESO Holding's Overnight Care Centre offers a wide range of advantages in this area.

Consultations to solve a health problem are provided by the Diagnostic Centre in Prague. All surgical interventions are then performed at the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun and the Hořovice Hospital, in a wide range of fields and procedures, such as arthroscopy, same-day surgery, coloproctology, gynaecology, urology and plastic surgery.

The flagship of the Day Care Centre is the Arthroscopy Centre in Beroun, which is one of the most sought-after in the Czech Republic. MUDr. Zdeněk Kopečný and a team of experienced orthopaedic surgeons operate on over five thousand patients a year. A few days ago, they had reason to celebrate because they have performed 50,000 operations since 2008.
